An Angel's Legacy . . . Ben

Contributed by myheartsvoice on Friday, 24th August 2007 @ 12:33:45 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Once

upon an early morn

perhaps the day

that i was

born,

engraved

within the heart of me

it read an angel's

legacy.

A

tiny picture

i did see

of

things and places

yet to

be,

a

woman's face

i never knew

that said my place

is here with

you.

Slowly

as the years went by

season's passed

unto the sky,

a lonely man i grew to be

then you came along to

me.

The picture

from my long ago

that woman who i didn't

know, standing here

in front of me i saw an angel's

legacy.

Inside

my heart did tremble

how was this possible?

amidst a world so disasembled stood

a

miracle.

Five

eleven

hair of gold

eye's of china

blue,

heaven now was mine to hold

untill my life was

through.

My

life you fill with beauty

and sweet serentity,

conceived of pure perfection

your an angel's

legacy.

Ben

Ben my dear friend this is
absolutely gorgeous. Heavenly
beautiful. I know that when I come
to your pages that I am always
going to be thrilled and ever
so happy with it's contents.
You never disappoint us my
dear poet. I know sometimes
it takes me awhile to get around
to commenting because I'm
away for so long, but it's always
a delightful pleasure stopping by
your pages.
An exquisite write penned beautifully
by YPDC's romantic poet. Thanks for
sharing your work with us my dear friend.
love & hugs your fan,
dreamer
