Well, hello there _____,
Though I don’t know how you feel about me,
I look at you, your face so sad, full of melancholy,
I’d like to hold you, tell you everything's o.k.,
But things like that, well they never go my way.

And if your walking down a hopeless lonely road
I’d walk alongside you , take your hand and lead the way
But alas, my cowardice would just get the best of me

A good friend, is something that I would never want to lose,
And thus I hide these feelings that I have of you,
I know things will never be more than they are now,
And I guess that all I can say is “Oh well”

With you I’ve felt something I’ve never felt before,
Dark twisted soul, feeling less like it’s in hell,
Cuz every time that I stop and talk to you,
It feels as If all my problems fade away.

I don’t know why things are quite like this.
It’d be much easier, if I never did meet you at all
But than I guess life’s not an easy road to drive,
And someday I hope I gain a bit of courage,
To finally tell you all these things I say today
But that may never happen, not at all
This secret from you, I may keep until I die.

I liked this a lot! I'm in this situation...although now it's been brought up. Things are still very confusing but that bit better now that it's all out in the open.Falling for your best friend is simultaneously the best and worst thing ever ha. You really conveyed the emotional strain very well, nicely done.
