Oh Doctor, Doctor What Have You Done To Me?

Contributed by desolantdreamer on Wednesday, 22nd August 2007 @ 04:09:46 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Oh Doctor, Doctor
What did you do to me?
All I can think of is that moment
The song played and we embraced in a slowdance like none I've ever had
And all the people melted away
I was stunned, exhilarated, happy
Did you feel it too?
They said you smiled peacefully
And I remember your hand on my back
Gentle and kind
Do you remember too?
Oh Doctor, Doctor
You haven't spoken to me since that weekend
But yet I can't bring myself to feel abandoned
Although in all honesty, I should
I finally felt like someone could like me back
And that I could have more of those 'movie moments'
But yet hopelessness ebbs at the back of my mind
Do you mean to?
Oh Doctor, Doctor
I don't know what to feel
I tried to look for the same feelings I had with you
In my other friends made there
But no matter which one I try to convince myself I like as much as you
I can't forget the dance we shared
Do you think of it too?
Was there any possibility of future with us?
Or did I make that up with that dance, stuck in the moment of romantic fairytales?
Oh Doctor, Doctor
You are such an ailment to me
Confused and scared and excited and worried
Stupid! Stupid! How come this had to happen to me?
Oh Doctor, Doctor
I've got it bad
What did you do to me?
