Pristine glasses lay in perfect lines,
Forks and spoons beside unopened wines,
Gleaming plates of chicken legs
And marinated breast,
Oozing bowls of cream gateaux’s
With hint of lemon zest..
Unfilled stomachs sprawled across immaculate floors
Someone’s kicked the hinges through the door!!
And sirens pierce the peaceful summer night,
Red and blue revolving lights…

Holy HECK!!!! lol
Good grief this was DARK. Damn dark. I love the way you
described the table and then the interruption without ever
really going into serious detail. It adds to the shock value.
