Divine. Beauty of the eyes
Love of the stride
Ambition and the drive
Oh dear God, why can't he be mine

Eyes, solid gold
Truly beautiful to behold
Hair, raven black
My mind loses track

Death to the one
Who does not love this man
Nothing could ever make me
Release his hand

Except for the one
The one girl he loves
He lets go of my hand
In favor of hers
