This Journey

Contributed by nativesunflower4 on Saturday, 18th August 2007 @ 04:14:41 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

There is a journey I must take;

a journey that leads to my path of

happiness.

This journey leads me through

sorrow, anger and

pain beyond measure.

My journey ends with a

smile, laugh and joy

indescribable.

But from point A to point B

there are stops I am unwilling to

make.

Though the choice is not all mine;

I will not fear decisions not yet

made.

My journey is scary and the destination

not always visible but I know that happiness

awaits me.

I am on a journey where all is unknown

and the desire to live is strong,

I must push along and drive through the storm

because my life is my journey and happiness, my goal.

There is more out there for me than a second rate love.

Beyond all beyonds is a smile waiting to wrap itself around me

for all time.

My journey leads to blessings and a love that will

make time stand still.

This path I am on leads in many directions not all

good and not all safe but miserable I am not, unhappy is not me.

This smile on my face is true

but so are these tears.

My journey allows me to feel and the chance to be real.

My journey is never ending!
