Your Turn To Hang.

Contributed by GemmaLouiseRose on Thursday, 16th August 2007 @ 02:57:50 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I told you things..

so many truths,

never said in such ways before..

things that wrenched the very heart
of which they were born..

drenched the lips
of which they poured...

i discarded my pride
so that you could see truth.

gods honest truth.

Im always hanging...
am i not?

never knowing, how you feel..
about how i feel..

like your hiding..
but i hide nothing.

i am nothing but a lonely seeker..

but
are 'no' words.....
really better than your words?

ill never know... youll never tell me.

and so i hang..

i hang on.

But when will you start hanging.

I like it alot. I know what it's like far too well. Very nicely expressed.

i wanted to check out your work and i had a feeling it would pay off, this is devistatingly
honest, and inescapable to whom ever it was aimed at. i love the way it slowly unfolds
into a interogative stand off.

Great poem, yet it happens so much. Men never opening up to the one they love. Meanwhile the women tell all.
