i walk in pain, stones are chained
to my neck wrapped down around my back
gushing blood from the spikes
that are attached and held
dragging life one day at a time, as an older teen
it was sad and slow, my daily routine
the trust and love through promises
cracked in half as the mirror had fallen
the glass was in pieces
spitting at this cold world
my heart is solid, hard as a rock
its senseless for a movement
when my emotions are locked
