Time Will Tell

Contributed by maryetta on Saturday, 11th August 2007 @ 12:56:47 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

reaching for an understanding of the events
why did i have to be so gullible believing him
was there a reason for me to love him blindly
was this his lesson or mine time will tell

when did the demons take control of his soul
at least my strength and beliefs were stronger
i couldnt share them with him he wouldnt let me
was this his lesson or mine time will tell

i try to go inside his head to see if i could have helped
i cant its all black smoldering so empty to my touch
why didnt i see this sooner why didnt i heed my senses
was this his lesson or mine time will tell

i see a different world than mine through his eyes evil
i feel the coldness of his heart trying to control mine
the spell has been broken only the sadness remains
was this his lesson or mine time will tell

Some people will NEVER learn. Sometimes the only thing we can take with us IS the lesson. Just walk away and know you are better. Lovely write.

You cannot change someone anyway... and sometimes one must think of oneself and walk away.

I think the most important thing is that YOUR soul is OK. Let him worry about his own.

Kiss,
