I'm going to a beach
Outside of this Oregon city
Gonna climb the rocks,
Scrape my knee,
Look around at all things pretty.
Gonna fight the waves
With a kick and a punch
Then sit in the sandy pebbles
For a nice basket packed
Tuna fish sandwich lunch.
And when the sun sets
I'll go in for a drink
Give myself a little break
Some time to sit
Some time to ponder and think.
With the sound of the ocean
Right within earshot
I would never be cry again
For this is my wonderland
This is my healing spot.

This is a nice piece; a little sing-songy, but that's alright, the dour-faced poetic police are away today. Places like these can indeed be healing spots, and worthy of our every effort to capture in words.
Enjoy Oregon's lovely shore, and keep it up.
