The Golden Arches appear
around corner of flaccid street.
Crowds dawdle in sandaled feet.
What do I order?
The food is temptation,
the prices compared,
do I go for taste or cheap?
I reluctantly take my wallet
to the bigger temptation,
the voluptuous quesedillas
of the independent cafe just up the street.
