Venom and Passion

Contributed by fadingaway on Friday, 10th August 2007 @ 05:21:57 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

The poisons dripping from my wrist,
How the hell did it come to this,
The deadly sorrow coursing through my veins,
The cries of tommorow, streams of rain,

Where is the antidote?
Where is the cure?
Why is everything always unsure?

It's the passion that's keeping me alive,
Im living on the love,
Hopping trying to fly,
On the broken wings of a dove,

Falling of the edge,
I knew I was in to deep,
Back upon the ledge,
Again I'm trying to sleep,

The poisons corsing through my veins,
From the angels bite,
I see not reason to avoid the pain,
I have no reason to fight,

But passion has never abandoned me,
And sorrow has never cared,
Because it's waiting you see,
For the one who's never dared,

Through the impossible it kept me going,
Through the improbable it kept me aware,
Through the dark times it saved my soul,
Through everything it was always there,

The poisons corsing through my veins,
From the archangels bite,
I have no reason to avoid the pain,
I have no reason to fight,

It was PASSION that saved my life!
And kept me going another night!

Indeed, where would we be without passion. Without it, all things aristic and meaningful would cease to exist. We would have no reason to live. Awesome write. Bravo!

what a write. what an analogy. loved it. especially this part:
Through the impossible it kept me going,
Through the improbable it kept me aware,
Through the dark times it saved my soul,
Through everything it was always there,
