Cry for the homeless
cry fro those who lost someone over the years
the sorrowful songs of children who ache to have love
cry for families who can't get along
cry for the sick who can't find a cure
cry for the lonesome
who have no one to go home to
cry for the sinner who doesn't care
cry for the wicked they cannot feel
the world is sad
full of perverts, sorrow and those that are mad
If only the people would take a stand
and lend eachother a helping compassionate hand

If only, Jenni. I think this one will resonate with everyone who reads it. A lot of compassion and help does occur though, every single second - and happiness is all over the place. It just doesn't rate in the news like misery and tragedy seem to, and we do seem to forget it ourselves, while holding onto the sad and bad times. I wish I knew why...

Here, here, goddess. Sing light to the shadows of our selfish and sometimes twisted selves.
