Blamed By The One

Contributed by tiggytom on Wednesday, 8th August 2007 @ 05:47:20 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Craziness recently seems to engulf me
Is it boredom, madness or for someone to love me
I've been married to stress so long I forget
Laid down I was walked on, leaving holes on in my chest
Fight my own false perception of what I know best

The time it is now, for the future is past
Summer has gone, now the winter will last
Time will elude you,, make fun and confuse you
And age will amuse you, bemuse you and fool you

So use your turn wisely, it wont last forever
Remember the fool, he must also be clever
Taking heed of his moves you'll become that much better
At recognising the king as oppose to the Jester

Then you will see, my friend what I see
That beauty in some truly is just skin deep
For the enlightened few and the talented plenty
Will pay homage to you as you're making your entry

Some say it's a place where the air blows so gently
Others say they don't care, are they here just to test me

For the rest of my time riding high on this journey
Im sure I will greet someone else who will blame me
For the earth, the moon, the stars and the sun
Are all of my fault, I am blamed by the one

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
