Lately
life's blue and grey
these lonely colors cave into
my heart's decay
Lately
I hurt myself
I felt you knock
but not to call for help
Lately
You turned to grey
your eyes don't cry
but they still seem to say
"I'm heavy in the heart
and
my soul begs to stay,
so
Won't you be the star
that leads the way?"
Lately
I'm made of rain
falling to your heart
I sometimes feel your pain
Lately
I'm too stoned to say
"Everyday is someone I can't
meet to play"
