Dreams can't come true, but life can

Stars fall above me
as I close my eyes and wish
and dream
of life without stress
without no hope
without
tears
and wonder why life
even exists
and then I stand up
and go home
to the world I live in
where life is on a timer
and time is on a schedule
and love
is all we have
and wonder if my dream world
the one I visit under black sky and stars
even is real
then a hug
something simple
something known
breaks my thoughts
and takes me away from my dreams
OF the unknown
and I wonder why
I ever thought life should'nt be real
and my life just be a dream
inside my deams right now
because even if my dream is perfect
even if I can run from my fears
even if i can
make up anything I feel
There is no real love
theres no hands
to stop me from running
theres none
to make me feel
So the next time
I lie under falling stars
I don't close my eyes and deam
I stand up and dance
becaus even if I fall
I'll be real
and then next time
I'll take you with me
