i was once a great man a man that people
would come to for an answer
they would not think twice of the information
they didnt question it
they did exactly what i said when i said it
when i said it it was done
for i was a sargeant first class
i was a man of respect
no one dare address me with less then
my last name and rank
they would never think of such a thing.
one day the world has changed
i came home to a different world
one with no respect to who i am
or what i have done
to where i have been and
the knowledge that i hold they question everything i tell them
no one has any respect for the ones
that have come before them
they just ask questions but they dont take
the answers seriously
they blow off what you have to say
what world did i come home to
what happened to the world i once new
