Moving On (part two)

Contributed by jerseysue on Saturday, 4th August 2007 @ 05:56:56 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

This fledgling lady with eyes open wide
Has crossed a path where guilt did lie
To start again she thought was wrong
To forget her love, and memories long

The love of her life on higher plain
Told her to live, yes start again
His time was limited, his death it came
How could she ever live again

Time it healed the grief and pain
No more the tears fell like rain
Instead an anger grew inside
And in no-one could I confide

Time it past I became so blue
Life was so dark, without you
But someone came , a guiding light
His presence made my world so bright

He himself had suffered rejection
We both were starved of much affection
We comfort each other, we found the key
We found each other, and we were set free

To live again , To move along
Plucked from obscurity, to now belong
No longer prisoners of grief it seems
And free to follow our ultimate dreams

So this fledgling lady who had no hope
Has now found strength, a way to cope
No fear I have, with this man so strong
I am at peace, I have moved on

You have purpose still, in this life Sue. I'm so happy for you
to have found the peace and strength, and WILL to move on. :)
His purpose has moved to another plain, but yours ... right here ...
is breathing still.

wonderfully inspiring and beautifully touching. In every way.
It's moving that you've found in each other, a comfort.

Just loverly, hun.

~Breezy
