The Black Box

Contributed by Athenus on Friday, 3rd August 2007 @ 04:33:09 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Today is a black and empty box filled with nothing and as the day starts slipping away as it gets colder. I am starting to loose all feeling in my body in this blank dark nothing but this is the only comfort I can have cause I’m afraid. After so many years of black. I wonder if I can still see, still feel. Maybe one day someone will find me and take me home and teach me what life really is like. Outside of this numbness that I feel all the time. To love life instead of hoping it’ll end and that I’ll never have to live another day wanting to pass on to the next life, to be free of this body and to see the beauty if this planet I live on call earth to actually see colour like these so call greens, blues, reds and purples plus all the others I’ve only dreamed of. How I wish I could see you, touch you, feel you. To hold you in my arms but until you rescue me from this box. I’m lost

Very sad but good writing.
Happiness comes from within.
I agree, get out of that box. Write your way out of it. I'm sure you know that writing is very healing to the soul.
huggs, much prayer,
emy
