DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT I’M GOING THROUGH?
THOUGHT YOU DID, BUT YOU NEVER KNEW.
THINK YOU KNOW FROM WHAT YOU SEE?
WHAT YOU SEE IS ONLY A PART OF ME.
THINK YOU KNEW EACH TIME I CRIED?
EVER TAKE THE TIME TO ASK ME WHY?
ARE YOU PART OF MY WORLD, OR JUST PASSING THROUGH,
IS YOUR LOVE REALLY TRUE?
AM I CURRENT, OR A PASSING THOUGH,
LIKE AN OLD DUSTY BOOK YOU MIGHT HAVE BOUGHT.
DO YOUR CUTS NOT BLEED LIKE MINE?
DO THEY FADE OVER A PERIOD OF TIME?
DO YOU THINK I REALLY LET YOU IN,
IF YOU DID, THEN THINK AGAIN.
