Brown eyed boy,
Sitting all alone,
Head hung low,
I wonder why,
This brown eyed boy cries

Brown eyed boy,
Just a face without a name,
Shoulders slumped,
He looks ashamed,
I wonder why,
This brown eyed boy cries

Brown eyed boy,
Looking into the crowd,
Silently screaming so loud,
I wonder why,
This brown eyed boy cries

This brown eyed boy,
I didn’t see him today,
Somebody told me he’s gone away,
Looking up at the sky,
I wish I’d found out why,
Why that brown eyed boy cried
