I am what made you,
Shall save you,
Protect you…
From yourself.
I sculpted the beauty,
Acknowledged the evil,
Accepted Him as my bane.
And all I ask…
Fight my ‘holy’ wars!
Kill those that are not my children!
Die for me…
But remember:
‘Thou shalt not kill!’
Pray to me
For things you think you deserve.
Teach my children
How to interoperate my Book for themselves…
Show them my laws;
Make sure women know their place.
Starve, suffer, give, take, torture, murder…
But NEVER lie.
My name is sacred…
Speak it in vain…
AND YOU SHALL BURN!!!

Jesus Christ! (that's an expletive by the way, not a call for divine retribution - lol). A brave stance in an increasingly intolerant, one-eyed world. Belief and its many contradictions have driven me to worship small rocks without malice, and I'm a better loon for it...

Loved it and I second what Spike said....(god, he makes me smile) I worship Mother Nature, man...she is the one that gave me life. She is my "god" and my "church". I respect those who respect their chosen religion....but friggen loathe the bible thumping, hateful, racist folks that this world has come to create throughout our society.
