A tear drops down her face
Her eye liner running
Her heart beating at a fast pace
Someone save her
She’s screaming,
“Think back to when
I’ll never see you again”
She stands at the park
Hands at her side
Watching him from a distance
He spews his promises to his wench
They somehow seemed familiar
She starts screaming,
“Think back
Back to when
I called your name
I’ll never miss you again”
He looks up
Starts to shout
Something she can’t make out
It goes dark
A bloody lullaby hums itself
And that’s when she started whispering,
“Think back…
To when we had nothing to lack…
In the past…
I thought this would last…
Think back…
Back to when…
My world wasn’t black..
I will never love you again…”
