The dark purple scar is beautiful
When I think of the blood that it dripped
That dark moment of suicide dreams
The blood on my finger tips
I know I'm diseased and I no longer care
What words come from your lips
The razor's too strong and I'm too weak
To stay strong during one of my fits
The cuts on my thighs are so pretty
When I think of the pain that they eased
I think of the times that you left me behind
While I was still down on my knees
Sobbing that night huddled down on the floor
Shaking to beat the disease
Crying to God just to take my life now
But He didn't answer my pleas
The dark purple scar is so gorgeous
With all the things it implied
At night I touch the purple welts
The razor by my side
I don't want to be a statistic
I want to lead a life
But I'm afraid that I'll give in to the siren song
Of being a suicide

very sad but i know where u are coming from it is not worth it todays troubles are tommorows memories and that is all they will be memories so stay alive so we can read ur butifull poetry

Very vivid relate to this I can

(((BLUE))) First...I love the poem, the way everything comes together, so beautifully...you have a great talent
Secondly...I know exactly how you feel and I know how much I've plead to be taken away from all of this, and just how it feels when that plea is ignored...
I know I'm not in the ebst position right now to say that I am always here for you if you need to talk, but I consider you a friend, so please... if you ever need a friend, I'll be that person...Remember I can relate... I've been there too
