Ready to Fight

You'll be in my dreams,
All day and all night.
Reach for my hand,
And get ready to fight.

Those three nights
Wrapped tightly in your arms,
I cared for nothing else,
Just surrendered to your charms.

My head against your heart,
The smile on my face.
How can I forget you?
As you leave without a trace.

The way you held me close
Your eyes held on to mine.
I wanted nothing more,
Than to have you for all time.

To spend a thousand nights
To spend a thousand days.
I can think of nothing better,
My mind becomes a maze.

The fears I think I have
Seem much too far away
When I gaze into your eyes
And pray for you to stay.

We got into this place
Not knowing what to think.
But now the time has come,
And the doubts begin to sink.

To know that you'd be mine,
To think of me as yours.
It's all I want forever,
To open up those doors.

Please don't forget me,
Or the good times we shared.
I don't want to lose you,
Please help me, I'm scared.
