selfstruggles
|
Within the circles I rotate
Lingers there a sense of self-hate.
Beyond the disclaim of fault
My thought processes halt.
Though skived off with ambition,
My dreams tell of a premonition.
Chased and cornered into conclusion
I become part of my own exclusion.
As if a closed gate may admit,
An open one must prohibit.
Words cross out themselves
As permanence is flung from dusty shelves.
Becoming what I fear made,
Knowledge of reflection no further delayed.
Running away and thus toward,
I embrace hypocrisy’s discord.
