The Prudent Man

Contributed by Faithful on Friday, 27th July 2007 @ 10:23:09 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

He is charming and unpleasant all in the matching moment,
His acidic sweet love caters to my own love for humankind,
He has a mind of his own that swallows all that know of this evil world.

Many men do not stand a chance against this man,
To conquer the world is his never ending plan,
A dictator of his kind will rule his world with a firm rod and a loving heart.

To this world he is like black coffee with no cream,
Although he can be bitter at times,
People are addicted to him and they don’t know why.

Who is this man?

A walking prayer that only my eyes can see,
His life-size eyes is what I dream about at night,
When I think of his chocolate bedroom eyes, my mind is hypnotized for his eyes are the window to my soul.

He is my best friend the one I confide in,
For whom I share my deepest secrets,
He has a strong will of his own, something I admire the most.

Every part of my body aches for his affectionate touch,
We often trespassed in and out the forbidden temple,
My body goes in the course of pure ecstasy when he whispers in my ear;

“I Love You” sings in my soul.
As he enters my temple the foundation shakes and trembles,
It looses control in the palm of his hands.

I try to resist, but it’s hard to say no in the moment of bliss
My heart rejoices the most when his spirit joins to mine;
At once my spirit is at peace for a long search for its own kind.

My soul is elated because it has found its place in destiny,
When he glares at me, my soul is trapped into his ever lasting desire:
To love, cherish, and to shield me from harm.

This man that I speak of, is a man that I would do anything for,
Lord have mercy on me, I am standing here kneeled down in front of Love footstool,
Faithfully asking for her grace to guide me and protect me.

I pray that God will keep us on the his chosen path,
To corrects us when we are wrong,
To rejoice when we are right, for His thirst for eternal life
This man mysterious mind can catch many off guard
So ladies if you find a man like this
Beware!!!! You are in for a ride of your life,
A ride you would never want to get off of
Or let anyone else on.

Who is this man, who everyone wants to know?
He is one that can not be held down,
He is a man that travels from coast to coast,
To seek new adventures is his ultimate goal.

So, Ladies hold on, you are in for a surprise,
This man I speak of comes once in a lifetime,
I thanked god for his grace and mercy upon us,
What God gives he can take away momentarily,
If not used in his truthful ways.

To many who has received much is required above their own abilities,
This man challenges my mind above realities,
He is a pray that came true, a man tailored made for me.
