Please tell them i loved them,
And tell them i cared,
Tell them mummy was in too much pain,
If they ask what her pain was,
Tell them the truth,
Mummies heart was broken,
Her heart was shattered in two.
She loved a man too much it seems,
To go on alone any more,
She was sick of putting the pieces,
Of her broken heart back together again.
She wasn't strong enough to go on,
Sadness had left her,
With no need to go on,
Tell them too,
That mummy loved them very much,
But the pain she'd been caused and suffered was just too much.
Tell them at night when they feels a wet kiss,
Sofly placed upon there cheek,
That mummy is there watching over them.
Tell them that she struggled with her choice,
But life alone was something she couldn't face,
Yes its true that she had the two of you,
But she needed love of a greater kind,
Tell them please never to blame themselves,
They were the innocent ones in all of this.
Tell them where ever they go in life,
To hold there heads up high,
For i will be there by there side,
Most of all tell them it was my time to go.

Don't you dare! There are plenty more fish in the sea ... hang in there. Great poem - it shows how much you are hurting - I hope all turns out well for you ... Jan |
