- Dreams of Blond -

Contributed by Davinah on Saturday, 21st July 2007 @ 01:52:32 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I lay on the sofa surrounded by the ruins of my world
watching the beautiful people on TV, wishing I wasn't here
wishing I was one of those mermaids living in a fantasy world
What do you do on the weekend?

Do you kiss your lover and see nice places
eat ice cream in the sun while bathing your feet in the fountain
smiling and laughing all the time
so disgustingly happy in your tight blue jeans
your perfect breasts, perfect skin and perfect teeth
and of course she's blond, 'cause blonds have more fun
So where are we dark girls supposed to get ours?

And I thought I got through this a long time ago
but the atrocities never leave my side
permanent perfect reminder of how imperfect my life is
you and your dream guy with his dream car
you could never ever understand

And you'll have ALL your dreams come true,
blessed with lucky sevens
Guess I was born on the wrong side of the line,
joined the wrong team
I've got a mountain of pain and then some
too much to fit in your pretty blond hair

We were all born on the wrong side or joined the wrong team. It is what each individual persom makes out of his life what counts. Bern
