enchanted heart

Topic: LovePoetry

enchanted heart...
when i see you
my heart dances
my stomach flutters
i come suddenly aware
how my limbs
hang awkwardly
side by side
my hands get sweaty
my brain gone...dead
my enchanted heart
it awaits your touch
how i yearn
to kiss you
to feel you
to wrap myself
around your heart
how i want
to just taste you
tell me sweet words
show me
delicious pleasure
mouth watering, love
entice all my senses
create the ultimate
climax of love

but...you cant
you cant surround me
with such fantasy
with such pleasure
of your very love
you cant enchant
enchant, my heart
because you cursed it
when you let it fall
crash and smash
to a million blood stainded pieces...
my forever enchanted heart
i will forever mend
dare i say
i will bleed with the tiny pieces.

This poem is a brilliant work of two contrasting stanzas that emphasize the battle between pleasure of your fantasies versus the cold hard facts of reality. The poem guides the reader into a world of blissful love only to be crushed be the actual outcome in the stanza.
