March with raised arms and twisted mind
something this way comes
like a the end of vinyl we are only circling
nothing new
and people die for a cause not there own
we dance and drink
and think this is all but a humanity crime
but then each of us all have our owns spoons
and only the poor really die
that is why its so easy to forget our neighbor
when we all lose friendly smiles to stranger
and simple hello's
then we dance and we drink
while we forget the pain we caused
its easy as an excuse
then we dance and we drink
then wake with headphones in our ears
as we walk staring at the street
all but a cell phone away

My dear brother, you have been on a powerful roll of late...pumping out some very impressive writes. This is another excellent piece.
Thank you for sharing. I agree with you on so many of these subjects you present on our world and it's current situation.
Much peace, my friend,
Laura |
