Shut the **** up and dance, prick.
Move your feet like syncopated jazz,
rhythms, symbols,
quickly dive through the floor
and rise to breathe. Sing
like the funk I know is in you.
Don't asky why,
there is no why. Don't be angry,
it makes you feel worse,
but why?
dig a mile trench with splintered shovels
in the middle of summer. Work hard, play harder,
sweat, cough, and move. Any more of this
you'll be declared a genius. A child prodigy,
snatched from birth, kidnapped, abused, and mocked,
who psychically floated from his prison
into the night, in his dream body, into the astral dimension
ascended and sailed home,
to his mother---
A child prodigy miraculously returned to the cradle,
mumbling of visionary quests, of which will come,
who knows?
So deal with what's dealt,
Make the best of your faults,
Let cowards be cowards,
Speak when speaking feels right,
Listen the rest of the time,
Eat when hungry,
Sleep when tired.
Let everything else take care of itself.
