This flesh has boiled for far too long
It's time to walk away from this and fear falling no longer, for you have already fallen.
Things this complicated and intricate take time, but armageddon is baring down.
Your teeth can grind no faster, your gums can bleed no longer and you've clinged to this for so long.
Let your pride be the death of you, choke on your own tongue, and my apathy will show.
I couldn't really care less what happens in the end, because all I know about you is your name.
You're so fake to me. And you only exist in your own little world...

well, ouch! Purging of one's thoughts in this way is a damn fine way to
process pain. And wow, you've done that well here. Very well indeed. Right
from that powerful opening line, there is a deep emotion begging to be released.
A sort of, say your peace and let the chips fall where they may write.
You know, there are a lot of fine lines and words in here that many, I think
would like to borrow. (myself included). I hope this helped .. the title was
absolutely perfect!
Bravo poet!

I found this poem to be very interesting in that there are many ways the feelings are being expressed. I think it takes courage to say how you really feel. Something coming from a place no one really wants to see or hear about. Very Awesome. |
