Its times like these
Where I hate the most
People like me
Those ***** emo's
They cry and they *****
They cut while they twitch
They take all the *****
With an ounce of grit
And that night
They hate themselves for it.
I wish I wasn't me
I wish I was smiling
And even though I think about you
I cant seem to do so.
I wish and I *****
And yet I cry again
Depression sets in
And nothing can help.
Just let me be
Alone again.
Hush
While I sleep in peace.

| I really don't have a problem with emo people because I can usually understand what they go through. Everyone feels depression, heartache, and despondency at some point in their lives. There are periods where I feel pretty "emo" myself. However, what helps me overcome this phase is keeping others in perspective. There are so many people in the world that are so much worse off than you, and most likely have greater reasons to be depressed and give up altogether, but these people strive to overcome the pitfalls in their lives. And remember there are millions of people who would switch lives with you in the world, no matter how screwed up you say your life is. |

this is a well written poem except for the stared out places.. it would be even more powerful if there wasn't those missing words.. its a good poem though.

WOW SHATTERED ,
YOU sound as though you hate yourself and wish you could be anyone else but you . you know my daughter use to wish she was someone else also. things in life can make us upset or mad or hurt but this is a good write and i liked it alot i do hope your feeling not so mad
