Hey Wajid, what happened?
Nothing sir, just depressed...how was your flight captain?
Fine, thanks...It's been a long time, where you been...
He doesnt answer but I see tears rolling from his eyes...as he clutches the steerin wheel...
The vehicle starts and we move on...
Lemme tell you a story captain...
I am a muslim and I married a hindu wife...
Five years we secretly met till we decided to get married...
And I told her parents for her I would end my life...
And I persisted till they relented and agreed..
I am but a car driver she was more educated than me
Once they realised she could never get someone better than me
They ignored my shortcomings and never once looked down at me...
We were married for 3 years and have two lovely sons...
One day she started bleeding and started havin convulsions...
Tragedy struck and she decided to end her life by consuming poison...
Someone said the reason was I cheated on her and spread false rumours...
And all the people they felt I was the murderer...
But them doctors said it was coz of the unbearable pain from her brain tumour
Not a single tear did I shed, holding hands of my kids as I sat near her...
The kids are with her parents while I try to get over this pain...
I feel lost and am trying to find me another
But what about my kids? they can never have their mother!
...
Thats your house captain, have a good rest...
But, Wajid, come home, please have somethin to drink...
He smiled and said...life is like this vehicle, there may be road blocks but you just have to drive on...
I stood there speechless and he drove past me...
