smoldering ash

Contributed by Phantomvampyress on Tuesday, 17th July 2007 @ 03:55:42 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The smell of the ash
intwines from the inside
is it a memory of the past?
or just what was chosen to be forgot?

The insicion goes beneath all that lies on the surface
of thoughts
reaching inside to grab what truths you hide

will it eat you ?
will you just let it seep through to
posion your soul with controlling the lustful ways?

reality becomes distant
feel the pain with those pent up memories
you chose to let sustain you from reaching completion

let everything go
as the smoke rises and filters through the air
as does the anguish you chose to hang onto

Vampyress Jenni

Right off the bat this is my favorite of yours.
The tittle ia compelling, a bit restful, and quite inspiring, it's awesomely beautiful.
I see a different you, you in a different ight.
along with an inquisitveness and yet the
feel of one who is a most compassionate
human being . . . Simply put, i'm floored by this one . . .

wow .. what a great title, Jenni. And the thoughts that follow
are filled with a depth of emotion and examination that most
could attest to familiarizing themselves with.

this is almost hard to read, really ...

great job!
