Spoken in Rhyme

Contributed by NoSaint on Sunday, 15th July 2007 @ 08:14:54 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Tracks through time
Always near
Spoken in rhyme
Words needed to hear

Clouds of trust
Hover just overhead
As through poetry
Our hearts are read

Poets find comfort
In each others words
Spoken softly
Fluttering as wings of birds

Many the times we
Have written to ease
And bring our
Brothers and Sisters peace

Thank you kind poets
For the love you extend
To the others who write
And who we call our friends

Simply Awesome!! Elegant but short and very vivid in explanation of thought and feeling!! I wish i could train my mind to think this simply and eleganly and also be able to bring it to public viewing and still have it remain simplr and elegant but understandable as well>> If that sounded crazy sorry but im sure you'll get the point...I have so many thoughts in my heart and mind but when i try to voice them or write them it comes out in a psyco jumble!! your definetly gifted! please keep writing and posting!
Sincerely Peppermint KI$$e$

A poem that calls for an answer. My answer is the poem may be short but it obviously comes from the heart. Even pen friends are so valuable and friendship is a wondrous thing top marks from bern

"Poets find comfort
In each others words"

So true. I have lost count how many times I have turned to a poetry book to help me organize my own feelings. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing.
