Tear Lake

Contributed by Jay_ne3 on Saturday, 14th July 2007 @ 09:12:53 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

In each girl's life
there's a time when she crys
when her tears join a river
that runs down to a lake
the lake of tears
there's a story behind every tear
every cry
every heart break
every lie
and my story
your story
her story
are all the same in one way
life can be good
life can be bad
and in the bad we cry
even if our eyes are dry
our souls bleed tears
and the only thing that is good for us in this time
is the promise
that things will be okay
eventually
life is just a bucket
filled with a million droplets of water
salty water
clear water
muddy water
life's water
that is poured into the river
and washed away
so that when the tears are gone
the clouds roll away
and all thats left
is me
is you
is her
is us
and then
we move on
