Breath as shallow
as sleeping Night birds
Love eased in..
and its truancy stills.
Involuntary moments
will turn on You,
salt remains
tears have long ended.
...and the hush.. in those brief seconds. Vincent

To your question in the author's note..... yeh..... yeh, I think I have. *sigh* Maybe it is for that reason that this piece feels familiar (in other words, relatable - but, somehow, it seems more than merely relatable).
The last line here intrigues me as it seem incomplete. Some part of me wanted to find a verb there --- the rest of me... well... embraced the fact that there wasn't one. There seems to me to be more to be said here, but perhaps the 'more' is something words just cannot convery. In it's own way... it is there, I think... and it is palpable.

Then to ask do you hear the silence of your soul as it kisses the air goodnight?
No Idea why I added that....it just poured from the chambers of my heart as I read this.
So tender and touching.A most tender write. |

Very emotional write...sorry to say, yeah, I have had those moments. Too many damn moments.
This line just got me....
"Love eased in..
and its truancy stills."
Made me think about this and that....and well...
I'm thinking of you.
Peace, love and hugs,

Oh, good gracious!! haven't we ALL had those moments?
yeah .. and wow! Vincent, you captured, OH TOO DAMN WELL, that emotion.
There is a bittersweetness dripping from the words. A longing ... a hope ...
a tear ... a tenderness that grips the heart in raw emotion. Oh my,
how wonderfully, WONDERFULLY written, my friend.
An absolute gem of a write. And one that I'll come back to again ..
