Apart

Contributed by crow on Thursday, 12th July 2007 @ 09:58:26 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A notion that had lifted
heart and piece of the soul,
the crime had no beginning
held on to and end.

A meaningless breeze
rush past all good
buries itself in infractions
hurried on.

It had come to words
without sorrow,
the eager peace one seeks.
It had come to a sad thing
and left me apart..Vincent

Oh Vincent, this is incredibly heartbreaking, my friend.
It possesses a kind of torture that holds the heart captive
with no hope of escape. Your words cover the soul like rain
and leaves one feeling quite desperate and helpless ...

I think into each life there is meaning found from the acquaintance
of every being. Even in sorrow, there is a purpose, no?

(Don't want to take liberties in assuming this is how you are
feeling at the moment, but if this is an emotion that you
are akin to in the present, I am sorry for your pain, my friend.

Excellent piece. Funny how hurt and anguish can create
the most deeply affecting writes in us. Beautifully painful, Vincent.

Such sadness fill my heart when I read this. My dear brother, where have you been? (thinks maybe I should call)
Brevity of words in this piece that screams out in silence. Beautiful...

Peace, love and hugs,
Laura

For pain is growth, that growth be strong.
If I grow bitter, then I grow wrong.
For what of love if not to chance?
The heart would never know the dance.

Dance lightlly and flow with your lifes music.
A painful and yet so enlightening an experience...No?

I agree that this is heartbreaking, but I love the way you write and the emotion is still beautiful.
