There is a feeling I get
that can never be erased.
It’s a feeling she gives me
every time I see her face.
I don’t know why
but I would like to see her in lace.
Whilst I admire her face
for nothing shall ever take its place.
There is nothing more that I’d like to do
then to grab her and never come unglued.
If I could I would stick to her forever and ever
and watch our feelings take flight.
She makes me want to tell her
“Everything will be alright,”
as I grab her and hold her tight.
For there is nothing more I’d like to do
then end her plight.
She is like a delicate rose
that has taken its thorny steam
and wrapped around my heart.
Suffocating it, yet letting it live
freely and happily whilst ripping it apart.
