But they reached me, the twins of sorrow
Shackling my days and forbidding me tomorrow.
Old of thirty and one nights they age slow
How I wish the sands of Time embrace the wind blow.
The desert howls as it feeds on my heart
Kneels before the twins and tears my soul apart.
With Hope my shield and Reason my sword
I now see a failure I cannot afford.
The memories and expectations revitalize my lust
My baby I should see you, my love I must.
God I pray, with her a moment let me borrow
But they reached me, demonic twins of sorrow…
