The Right Kind of Note

Contributed by funnyface09 on Monday, 9th July 2007 @ 02:42:14 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I held the guitar in my hand
I don’t even know how to play one
I wish I could
Then I will be able to find the right note
The right note to tell you how badly I miss you
The note just to tell you I am sorry I love you
Tears were in my heart
When I walked away from you
Because I know you never love me
You never will love me
I was just too naïve to believe you will one day
And I know I need to walk away
Away with just a small memory of you
Kept inside my heart forever
As I continue to hold the guitar in my hand
Hoping you could someday hear the love note
Which I had tried so hard to play
And make you listen to it
One day, someday I hope
