A million reasons why..

Contributed by Hannah_Heaven on Sunday, 8th July 2007 @ 01:48:36 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

a million reasons why..
lovers come and go
but love should last forever
we arent meant to die alone
a single grasp, a touch, embrace
and my heart is ever yours
a kiss, fingers inbetween,a bond forever more
but an innocent heart felt yearn
isnt enough
to keep him
wanting, needing, seeking,
another to lead astray,
i was the love struck sheep
begging to come along
knowing in my bewildered heart,
he was never mine and never shall,
for his heart didnt beat for me,
it longed for immortality,
of a forever distance,
away,away,away
a million reasons why..
his heart didnt feel the same.

a very interesting powerful write. I like the flow of this and the ending is just exquisitely expressed. Great job here
