Fate and Faith

Contributed by bhavik on Sunday, 8th July 2007 @ 12:26:38 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Fate once decided that it wanted me to met faith,
I didn’t know what to expect, but I decided I would meet faith.

Would like to tell you it was fate’s intervention that got me to meet Faith,
agreed we met under sad circumstances,
I guess it was our faith.

I still remember those light brown eyes full of sadness,
there was a streak of life every time faith spoke about things close to her heart,
even in the state of sadness.

I couldn’t help the way I saw faith carry herself,
I felt as if I was seeing grace embedded in a person,
It was amazing to see faith carry herself.

How could I miss that dimple on faith’s left cheek?
A complete woman is what it made her,
when it appeared on her left cheek.

During the conversation that we had over hours,
many times I lost track of time and my thoughts, why?
It had never happened before,
I still pondered over it for hours.

For me faith was the angel that appeared in my dreams every night,
I was surprised to see faith in flesh and blood in the day,
right in front of me,
instead of me closing my eyes and faith visiting me in my dreams in the night.

Since then whenever I think of faith,
I seem to lose track of time,
it seems faith is the tsunami that wipes away all my thoughts.

Where does this fate wanting me to met faith relationship go from here on?
I don’t know, I don’t want to know,
one thing is for sure fate has something up his sleeves, otherwise why would faith met emotion?
