A Sweet Cinderella . . . Ben

Contributed by myheartsvoice on Friday, 6th July 2007 @ 12:21:21 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Be it ever so humble

so goeth the song but i beg to differ

i dare say there wrong,

if home's where the heart is then is it not true?

be it ever so loving

there's no place like

you.

Then a song or a poem

or even a play are things i only once knew,

and yet there i was

on the stage of life falling in love with

you.

Looking at you was imencely pleasing

how easy you caught my eye,

as though in my heart i needed a reason

to never let you slip

by.

Be it ever so loving

there's no place like you

at least not in this man's life,

as long as i live to you i will give

what is rightfully yours as my

wife,

"And what might that be? "

you ask of me, gently caressing my face,

to thee i respond fom love and beyond,

in thyne heart my love shall i

place.

For yours is the heart of an angel

posessed of a love so true, laced with the soul

of a sweet cinderella ne'er again

shall i love one as

you.

Ben

Stunning write that left tears in my eyes. I could picture your lovely wife gently touching your face. Your love is precious, absolutely positively precious. You lucky man, you. Thank you always...for sharing this love story of yours. It is the most wondrous love.

Much peace, love and hugs to you and yours,
Laura (your hippie sis)
