blinded by false positives,
reality seeping through, nothing as it seems,
forgotten senses bewildering my judgments,
i am a prisoner of my own emotion, scratching the insides trying to be released,
two sides of a coin, tossing to be on the upside,
today is dark and daylight soon arrives but for now i shall enjoy this godforsaken ride,
i am lost come find me if you can, im here somewhere underneath it all,
or have you forgotten my face as i have almost forgotten yours?

Good write, one I could relate to. The fourth line is so intense...
"I am a prisoner of my own emotion, scratching the insides trying to be released"
god this screamed at me, the whole write spoke volumes. I feel lost too, and you've conveyed the feeling to where it is almost palpable. Thanks for sharing.

Oh wow .. this title is what drew me in .. and boy, I was NOT disappointed!
You have done an expert job at describing the pain of self-struggle.
God! I am SO in touch with this emotion and the darkness that
it creates in the soul, and you have really done justice to the torture
that it spills into one's life. Damn, I'd love to pull out and place here
just where this piece gripped me, but in all honestly the entire
thing was overwhelming.
