I sit here
unmoving
high amongst the trees
watching as the world
passes by
I do not know
what I should do
while the world turns
and I sit here
in my tree
I want to venture out
but don't know were to go
I am afraid
because the hounds
are circling my tree
can someone
please help me
have you heard me
whisper
or my cry of anguish?

Hey, good title. I can relate to this, I really enjoyed the third stanza....
"I am afraid
because the hounds
are circling my tree"
I like those lines. Thanks for sharing.
(starting to look for your writes, now *smiles*)
Peace,
Laura |
