Gone to the rain,
just want to feel"
You will have to look-up
"presence on the left.
Drops pierce...
open Us up
colorless valor
given cheap circumstance.
Why has Calamity"
up and left town
smells and equations all wrong
nothing grows in used dirt"
Instinctively heroes
hide in the wings
who would you fear
with the open hand
rain pierces the mongrel
as well ....Vincent

I confess to having read this numerous times. I keep seeing someone standing in the rain, thinking they're alone, but then discovering they are not alone at all. Almost like a message saying someone will be there, waiting. I have so many feelings when I read this...sadness, loneliness....but then again a sort of "hope" blended in. Hmmmm I love a read that leaves me pondering a bit. Good stuff as always.
Peace and hugs,

It's so easy to refract meanings in words. This post really seems to express your feelings and offer a variety of different meanings behind every word. Very nice write.

wow Vincent, this is my umteenth visit here, and still I am captivated by your
very first two lines ...
"Gone to the rain
just want to feel"
how deeply potent and delightfully telling those words alone are.
I keep getting caught on them .. in them ... wrapped up in thoughts of
being in the rain. Feeling just that ... the wetness of it ... the cold ... the
drenched emotion that clings to every curve. DAMN! yes yes. Gimmie
all of it! God I love this one. Perfectly worded .. and felt, my friend.
Piercing!
