Everytime I get so far
You take another piece of me
smash it in my face
I am not merely worth enough to you
Everything good I've given to you
You turn me away
making all my days turn black
Specialness from you
I so much lack
Into a lonley unworthy oblivion
my soul will crash
the pain deepens as this love is cheapend
Returning from where I came
because you don't even feel any shame
taking my hand
you lead me to that empty space (so familiar)
so familiar it devours me whole
sinking in singing to drown
Remember this before I wither down
I love you the same
even though you don't know my real name

god Jenni, that was some deep schtuff. I really could feel your emotions, so raw, in this write. The ending was almost like a burn sis....
"I love you the same
even though you don't know my real name"
...a burn in the meaning that it seems as though this feeling, this hurt is lingering within you. Hope all is well.
Peace and hugs,
Laura |

Friends can sometimes miss your value and yes really push their limits. Lots of feelings here and sounds like you've had enough of this friends behaviour. Tolerance can be easy to learn with some friends. A good write that I think anyone can relate to with these kind of friends. |
